When and where exactly?
5-11 October 2026, around London. The flagship summit will take place on Thursday 8th October in Shoreditch. Full calendar coming soon.
What else is on in London that week?
A lot — the festival is one strand of a much bigger week. Euro Defense Tech Days runs 1–8 October, with EDTH’s London hackathon, a Counter-UAS forum and Build with Ukraine, plus the Resilience Conference on 5–6 October. London is also a stop on Deep Tech Week. Twenty-plus partner events are going up across the city — if you want to host one, get in touch.
What counts as 'Deep Tech'?
It's an empty term, so we're taking a deliberately loose view. We know this will upset people. Deep Tech is people building hard things — ambitious problems, real science, genuine engineering depth. It's not about gatekeeping who counts. If you're working on something that could change a fundamental constraint of how the world works, you're Deep Tech.
B2B SaaS Policy
We're not anti-B2B SaaS per se. B2B SaaS-ists are welcome to attend, enjoy themselves, and be inspired to do something better. We're prioritising stage time for the next revolution: automation at a different scale, science that moves atoms, intelligence that changes what's possible.
